ILHAM MINDA 162
LUBUK AKAL TEPIAN ILMU
BERBALIK RASA BERBAIK KATA
(Short saying drawn from long experience)
(One man’s wit is all men’s wisdom)
41
Yang sabar banyak beristighfar tetapi
yang marah banyak menyumpah.
42
Kegagalan itu menjadi satu ujian tetapi
ketinggalan itu menjadi satu kajian.
43
Yang terpinggir itu makin terpulau dan
yang tersingkir itu makin terhalau.
44
Yang menang baik merancang manakala
yang kalah baik bermuhasabah.
45
Kurang berfikir banyak membazir tetapi
kurang makan banyak menyimpan.
46
Sabar itu separuh persediaan manakala
ikhtiar itu separuh kejayaan.
47
Malang datang membawa peluang dan
rugi datang membawa rezeki.
48
Rugi yang tersurat rezeki tersirat dan
buntung yang tersurat untung tersirat.
49
Apabila hendak jangan mendesak dan
apabila mahu jangan mengampu.
50
Tergadaikan budi kerana janji dan terga-
daikan maruah kerana sumpah.
