ILHAM MINDA 159
LUBUK AKAL TEPIAN ILMU
BERANJAK RASA BERAGAK KATA
(Short saying drawn from long experience)
(One man’s wit is all men’s wisdom)
41
Pertukaran tak membawa pembubaran dan
perubahan tak membawa permasalahan.
42
Yang baran tak tahan beban dan yang marah
tak betah dengan masalah.
43
Yang gagah jangan sekali menyanggah dan
yang lemah jangan sekali mengalah.
44
Orang menjadi gagah kerana semangat dan
orang menjadi tabah kerana taat.
45
Jika peluang datang lebih baik kejar tetapi
jika malang datang lebih baik hindar.
46
Cuma berkata-kata tetapi tak bersedia dan
cuma bercita-cita tetapi tak berusaha.
47
Jangan bantah orang yang marah dan ja-
ngan bangkang orang yang berang.
48
Jika berbohong tiada siapa menolong dan
jika menipu tiada siapa membantu.
49
Yang berbuat baik sentiasa dipuji tetapi
yang berbuat jelik sentiasa dicaci.
50
Dapat petunjuk usah menujuk-nunjuk dan
dapat telunjuk usah mengutuk-ngutuk.
