Dalam Diam-Diam Berkirim Salam | Dalam Malu-Malu Berkirim Rindu

(Dekat Terikat.
Jauh Tersentuh)

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden
is a large park with an eminent garden

It was originally a residence of the Naito

ILHAM MINDA 156
LUBUK AKAL TEPIAN ILMU
BERAGIH RASA BERALIH KATA
(Short saying drawn from long experience)
(One man’s wit is all men’s wisdom)

31
Apa yang dirasa itu yang direka dan
apa yang difikir itu yang diukir.

32
Asyik bercakap kerja tak cekap dan
asyik berfikir kerja tak mahir.

33
Apabila yang dicadang tak buat ma-
ka yang dirancang tak dapat.

34
Makin dipuji makin sayang tetapi
makin dicaci makin berang.

35
Usik-mengusik jadi asyik tetapi ke-
cam-mengecam jadi geram.

36
Jika kanan dipejam kiri dikenyit dan
jika kanan dicubit kiri diulit .

37
Dalam diam-diam berkirim salam dan
dalam malu-malu berkirim rindu.

38
Makin jauh makin tersentuh tetapi
makin dekat makin terikat.

39
Jika jauh saling tak sempat maka jika
dekat saling tak dapat.

40
Jika sibuk tiada masa menjenguk dan
jika lapang tiada masa pulang.

The garden, which is 58.3 hectares
in area with a circumference of 3.5 km,
blends three distinct styles: a French Formal
and English Landscape in the north and to
the south a Japanese traditional. A traditional
Japanese tea house can be found
within the gardens.

Shinjuku Gyoen
is home to a large number of cherry trees
of more than a dozen different varieties.
From late March to early April, more than
400 somei yoshino trees blossom around
the English garden turning the lawns into
one of Tokyo's most popular and pleasant
hanami spots.
