ILHAM MINDA 158
LUBUK AKAL TEPIAN ILMU
BERALAS RASA BERASAS KATA
(Short saying drawn from long experience)
(One man’s wit is all men’s wisdom)

21
Biar susah asal jangan buat salah dan biar
penat asal jangan buat jahat.

22
Akhir lebih baik daripada awal dan berfikir
kir itu lebih baik daripada menyesal.

23
Sedekah lebih baik diamalkan tetapi rasu-
ah lebih baik ditinggalkan.

24
Yang taat itu mendapat berkat tetapi yang
sesat itu mendapat mudarat.

25
Memberi sedekah rezeki bertambah teta-
pi memberi rasuah keji terdedah.

26
Sudah terang masih bersuluh dan sudah
dirancang masih bertangguh.

27
Makin berucap makin banyak silap dan
makin berhujah makin banyak salah.

28
Ajarkan maaf takkan berlaku khianat dan
ajarkan insaf takkan berlaku maksiat.

29
Kalau jauh  tuduh-menuduh dan kalau
dekat umpat–mengumpat
.

30
Apabila penting  saling berganding tetapi
apabila genting saling berpaling.

The garden, which is 58.3 hectares
in area with a circumference of 3.5 km,
blends three distinct styles: a French Formal
and English Landscape in the north and to
the south a Japanese traditional. A traditional
Japanese tea house can be found
within the gardens.

Shinjuku Gyoen
is home to a large number of cherry trees
of more than a dozen different varieties.
From late March to early April, more than
400 somei yoshino trees blossom around
the English garden turning the lawns into
one of Tokyo's most popular and pleasant
hanami spots.
