Menang Bukan Kerana Tuah | Kecundang Bukan Kerana Tulah

(Pujian Dijunjung.
Cacian Ditanggung)

is a large park with an eminent garden
in Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.

ILHAM MINDA 150
LUBUK AKAL TEPIAN ILMU
TITISAN RASA TITIAN KATA
(Short saying drawn from long experience)
(One man’s wit is all men’s wisdom)

31
Tak yakin yang miskin kian miskin dan
tak percaya yang papa kian papa.

32
Tak yakin kerja main-main dan tak per-
caya kerja suka-suka.

33
Biar semangat menjadi sokongan dan
biar matlamat menjadi dorongan.

34
Biar paksaan menjadi gerakan dan biar
desakan menjadi galakan.

35
Tanpa maklumat tiada panduan dan
tanpa matlamat tiada tujuan.

36
Tak upaya bukan kurang percaya dan
tak jamin bukan kurang yakin.

37
Menang bukan kerana tuah dan kecun-
dang bukan kerana tulah
.

38
Menang sama-sama sepakat tetapi
kecundang sama-sama subahat.

39
Pujian sama-sama dijunjung tetapi ca-
cian sama-sama ditanggung

40
Lemah sama-sama berlindung dan su-
sah sama-sama menanggung.

The garden, which is 58.3 hectares
in area with a circumference of 3.5 km,
blends three distinct styles: a French Formal
and English Landscape in the north and to
the south a Japanese traditional. A traditional
Japanese tea house can be found
within the gardens.

Shinjuku Gyoen
is home to a large number of cherry trees
of more than a dozen different varieties.
From late March to early April, more than
400 somei yoshino trees blossom around
the English garden turning the lawns into
one of Tokyo's most popular and pleasant
hanami spots.
