Hilang Aib Kerana Ghalib | Hilang Malu Kerana Selalu

(Dapat Diumpat.
Boleh Diperlekeh)

ILHAM MINDA 151
LUBUK AKAL TEPIAN ILMU
UBAHAN RASA ULASAN KATA
(Short saying drawn from long experience)
(One man’s wit is all men’s wisdom)

11
Hilang aib kerana ghalib dan hilang
malu kerana selalu
.

12
Dibiar mencabar, ditegah menyang-
gah dan dipujuk mengamuk.

13
Perlukan kawan jika tertekan dan per-
lukan sahabat jika tergugat.

14
Yang sibuk tiada masa berleka tetapi
yang sebuk tiada masa bekerja.

15
Yang bersungguh selesai tetapi yang
bertangguh terbengkalai.

16
Yang buat cuai lambat selesai dan
yang buat silap lambat siap.

17
Berbantah itu punca masalah dan
berbalah itu punca musibah.

18
Yang menyangkal hilang akal dan
yang bertengkar hilang ikhtiar.

19
Tuduh-menuduh kian keruh dan tu-
ding menuding kian genting.

20
Yang boleh jangan diperlekeh dan
yang dapat jangan diumpat.

The garden, which is 58.3 hectares
in area with a circumference of 3.5 km,
blends three distinct styles: a French Formal
and English Landscape in the north and to
the south a Japanese traditional. A traditional
Japanese tea house can be found
within the gardens.

Shinjuku Gyoen
is home to a large number of cherry trees
of more than a dozen different varieties.
From late March to early April, more than
400 somei yoshino trees blossom around
the English garden turning the lawns into
one of Tokyo's most popular and pleasant
hanami spots.
